A brief history of TNTC

In 1956, American missionaries came to Taiwan to establish the first Nazarene church in Taiwan.
In 1958, a seminary was opened in Wuchang Street, Taipei City.
In 1962 , he used "balm bottles" to raise US$17,500 to purchase seven acres (8569 square meters) of Guandu Hillside land, and planned to establish the "Nazarene Missionary Seminary". Graduates
began to graduate in 1970. The first class was held in
1973 . Awarded degree certificate - Bachelor of Divinity
in 1976. Added the Department of Religious Education in
1979. Established extended courses in1982. The Administrative Committee of the College was formally established in1984. Winter vacation classes were held in1997. Master's degree in missionary courses were established, and ATA (Asia Theological Association) accepted it as a formal member.
In
2000, he accepted the correction from the International Federation of Education Ministry regarding the issue of credit recognition for the master's degree diploma in the missionary master's program.
In July 2001, the teaching work of the seminary was suspended (due to personnel and financial problems), and matters related to student transfers and staff resignations began.
In May 2002 , the joint meeting of directors formally decided that the seminary would suspend teaching and resume extended courses in 2010 (limited to sporadic openings in churches in the northern and southern dioceses)
In 2014 , enrollment was resumed. In 2017 , Pastor Shin Min-chan of Sangam-dong Church in South Korea was hired as the dean. The first graduation ceremony after the resumption of school in 2018 continued the record before the suspension of enrollment and was designated as the 41st graduation ceremony. There were two graduates - Master of Divinity and One each for Bachelor of Theology. The 42nd graduation ceremony was held in 2019, with 5 graduates, 3 Masters of Divinity and 2 Bachelor of Theology The 43rd graduation ceremony will be held in 2020, with a total of 2 graduates, 1 Master of Divinity and 1 Bachelor of Theology In 2021, President Xin Minjiang resigned. In February, the board of directors decided to hire Pastor president. The 44th graduation ceremony was held in June. There were 5 graduates, 2 with Master of Divinity and 3 with Bachelor of Theology. In December , Pastor Wang Naichun officially served as the dean. In March 2022, the inauguration ceremony of the dean will be held at the annual meeting .
